Who we are
gk2autopsy.com (“the site”, “we”, “us”) is an independent, fan-made tool for Graveyard Keeper 2. It is not affiliated with Lazy Bear Games or the game’s publisher. See About for more, or reach us through the Contact page.
Information the calculator handles
The autopsy calculator is plain JavaScript that runs entirely on your device. When the page loads, your browser downloads
the site’s public rules table (data/rules.json) and does every calculation locally. The skull counts, extraction
checkboxes, hard-organ outcomes and embalming options you choose stay in the page you have open:
- They are not sent to our server or to any third party by the calculator.
- The site’s own code does not store them in cookies,
localStorage, sessionStorageor any other browser storage. - Reloading or closing the page resets the calculator to its default values.
Server and hosting logs
Like almost every website, the site is delivered through a hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare). When your browser requests a page, the provider may automatically process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, for security, abuse prevention and reliable delivery. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to see aggregate statistics such as page views,
approximate location (country or city level), device type, how visitors arrived (for example from a search engine) and which
guides are read. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) and similar
technologies to distinguish visits. It may record that you interacted with page elements, but the calculator values you type
are not sent to it by our code.
Google processes this data under its own terms. You can learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, and you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data from your browser with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising: Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. In line with Google’s requirements, please note:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
Ads may also be served by other ad technology vendors that participate in Google’s network. These vendors may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and similar technologies to measure ads and limit how often you see them. For details on how Google uses cookies in advertising, see Google’s advertising technologies page. Even if you opt out of personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized ads, which are chosen using contextual information such as the page you are viewing.
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, data protection laws such as the GDPR and UK GDPR apply. Where required, consent for advertising and analytics cookies is requested through Google’s consent messaging before personalized ads are shown, and you can decline or withdraw consent at any time. If you do not consent, Google may show non-personalized or limited ads instead. Our legal bases are your consent (for advertising and analytics cookies, where consent is required) and our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving a free website.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we do not run accounts and do not hold identifiable visitor profiles ourselves, most requests about analytics or advertising data are best handled through Google’s tools linked above; you can also contact us.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies will not break the calculator, because it does not rely on cookies, but it may change the ads you see.
Children
The site is a general-audience game resource and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and its effective date. Notable site changes are also listed in the Changelog.
