Zombie goal: controllable Red
For resurrection, launch guides flip the burial rule: Red skulls open zombie perk slots (games.gg zombie guide, Wikily, Fextralife, Prima). White still matters for graves, but it does not drive zombie perk capacity. Collar tier also caps how many perks you can use — early Bronze collars are often cited as capping around five Red.
“Controllable Red” means shape the count you need for the collar / perk plan — don’t auto-scrub every Red with Blood/Fat the way you would for burial.
Corpse requirements
- Complete vital set: Brain, Heart, Guts, Skull, Bones, and Skin. Missing any one blocks resurrection (games.gg).
- Surgeon’s Error bodies cannot become zombies (GameRant / Wikily) — keep Anatomy high enough or avoid hard extractions that risk a failed op.
- Unlock Reanimation on the Anatomy & Alchemy tech tree, open the Resurrection Chamber, and build a Resurrection Table (see tech tree).
- Runtime needs: Zombie Collar + Reanimation Liquid on the table; resurrection during a storm (snake icon — regular rain does not count). Prayer for Storms is the backup when weather stalls.
How to raise / keep Red safely
- Pick arrivals already rich in Red (later corpse tiers and decay lean Red — Prima / games.gg).
- Do not strip Blood/Fat/Flesh blindly — those skull values cannot be restored once extracted.
- Harvest Red-heavy organs from burial / cremation fodder, store them, and implant at the Autopsy Table (works before and after resurrection per games.gg).
- Embalming: Wikily lists Solution / Injection for Zombies as +Red (and injections trade White → Red). Confirm grade I–III in-game
- Match collar tier to the Red count you actually built — over-farming Red past the collar waste resources.
Work readiness (after rez)
A zombie with no matching tool sits idle. Equip industry tools for Work Mastery, queue recipes, and use Zombie Supplier / porter setups so stations stay fed. Transporters can skip combat-grade bodies. Raise weekly zombie allowance at the PR Machine when the Astrologer debuff hits overcrowding.

FAQ
Should I remove Blood and Fat on zombie corpses?
Usually no — they commonly remove Red. Only extract if you need the materials and can replace Red another way (implants / zombie embalming).
Why won’t resurrection start?
Check complete vitals, collar + reanimation liquid, storm timing, and that the body has no Surgeon’s Error. Confirm Reanimation tech and table placement.
Do White skulls help zombies?
Perk slots are Red-driven. White is for burial / graveyard math — don’t sacrifice Red capacity chasing White on a worker body.
Is this official?
No. Unofficial fan site, unaffiliated with Lazy Bear Games or the publishers.
